April 14, 2000 -- Portland brewer wins two Brewing Industry International Awards
BridgePort IPA has received two Brewing Industry International Awards in London. They not only won the gold medal in their class, but also the champion trophy in the entire International Ale category. These honours were bestowed after their IPA was judged in anonymity by an international panel of judges comprised of practicing professional brewers.
This is one of the most prestigious brewing competitions in the world, with competition from top brewers in the U.S., U.K. and Europe all vying for top honors.
