March 7, 2000 -- Craft Brewers Conference Invades Milwaukee April 26-29, 2000
The brightest lights of the craft brewing industry will converge upon Milwaukee, Wisconsin to celebrate the art, science and business of making better beer.
For sixteen years the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) has been sponsored by the Institute for Brewing Studies (IBS) to provide a forum where brewers can learn, grow, network and socialize with other brewers and associated industry personnel.
The venue for the 2000 CBC is Milwaukee’s Midwest Express Center, a brand new, state of the art convention center located in the heart of downtown. The Midwest Express Center is located near the River Walk, the cultural district, the lake and warehouse district, and within walking distance of several local brewpubs.
One of the highlights of the CBC is BrewExpo America, the largest trade show in North America for the professional brewing industry. Not to mention the oldest and the original. For 16 years BrewExpo America has provided a forum for buyers and sellers to do what matters most to both of them—develop profitable business relationships.
BrewExpo America features 150 of the top vendors in the industry, ten hours of Expo-only time (including the Welcome Reception), free lunch during the Expo, and six seminars on the BrewExpo America stage.
