May 24, 2002 -- Elgin, Illinois brewpub hosts 8 breweries
Prairie Rock Brewing Co. announces their 7th annual Brew Fest will be held June 14th from 3:30 - 11:00 p.m. and June 15th from 12:00 - 11:00 pm outside Their historic downtown Elgin location at 127 S. Grove St.
The Brew Fest will feature the area's best food and hand-crafted microbrews from local vendors including Prairie Rock Brewing Co., Emmett's Tavern and Brewing Co., Founder's Hill Brewing Co., Glen Ellyn Brewing Co., Two Brothers Brewing Co., Rock Bottom Brewery, Govnor's Public House, RAM Restaurant and Brewery and America's Brewpub.
Friday's entertainment features Nick Moss from 3:30 - 7:00 pm and modern hits by X-Side from 7:30 - 11:00 pm. Saturday's line-up includes karaoke by S&R Music Explosion from 12:00 - 3:00pm, After Hours from 3:30 - 7:00 pm and Sister Envy from 7:30 - 11:00 pm.
