Breaking News - Beer Notes Founder Gets New Gig Repping Hart Robinson Breweries LTD
February 9, 2001 -- Canadian brewery now shipping 3 brands into the U.S.A.
Mike Urseth, founder and editor of Beer Notes and beernotes.com has a new gig as Import Director of Hart Robinson USA, a division of Beer Notes Inc. Hart Robinson USA is the sole U.S. importer of the fine beers from the Hart Robinson Breweries of Carleton Place and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
The first shipments of Hart beers have arrived in the U.S. Three distributors have signed on so far, with more soon to be inked. All Saints Brands of Roseville, Minnesota (651-636-3666) will be handling Hart beers in the land of 10,000 lakes. Cherryland Distributing of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin (920-743-1945) will carry Hart beers in the eastern portion of Cheddarland. Windy City Distributing of Warrenville, Illinois (630-393-4800) is offering the Hart Beers in the Land of Lincoln.
Three brands of Hart beers will be sold south of the border: Hart Amber, Red Leaf Canadian Ale and Cross Cut Stout. Hart beers have been favorites in the Ottawa area for nearly 10 years, but this is the first opportunity for American beer lovers to try them.
