Breaking News - North American Beer Awards Seeks Judges
April 5, 2000 -- Idaho Falls, Idaho to host event May 31 through June 3, 2000
The staff of the 4th annual North American Beer Awards is looking for qualified beer judges.
If you are a BJCP judge, professional brewer, or professional beer writer the NABA would like you to join us in Idaho Falls, Idaho on Wednesday May 31, Thursday June 2, and/or Friday June 3 to judge the best beers in North America. There are three sessions each day with breaks between each session and lunch served daily. All judges will, of course, be granted admission to the 6th annual Mountain Brewers Beer Festival on Saturday, June 3, 2000, to benefit Safe Place. Last Year the festival raised more than $22,000 for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
The popular Beer Fest is centrally located at Idaho Falls' McDermott Field, 2 hours from Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Sun Valley, and only 3 hours from Salt Lake City. Idaho Falls has repeatedly been rated as one of the country's top 10 outdoor recreation destinations.
