Can't think of what to get Dad for Father's Day? Take him out to the 5th annual Prairie Rock Brewfest, happening at Prairie Rock Brewing Company on Friday and Saturday, June 16th and 17th. This event will be sure to please Dad as it has four of Dad's favorite things - beer, live music, BBQ and cars. Eleven breweries and brewpubs will be on hand, pouring 26 different summertime favorites. BBQ pork sandwiches, brats, roasted corn and a pig roast will be available to complement the fine brews. Five different bands will keep the air alive with music while Dad is quaffing his favorite local beer. And for the first time, a classic car, truck and motorcycle show will be held along with the brewfest.
Participating breweries include Prairie Rock, Goose Island, Two Brothers, Founders Hill, Flossmoor Station, Fox Bay, Flatlander's, Rock Bottom, Big Horn, Emmett's, Three Floyds and Glen Ellyn.
Brewfest hours are 5:00 PM until Midnight on Friday, and Noon until Midnight on Saturday.
