Salvator 2000 Toasts The New Millennium

August, 1999

Paulaner Brewery, Munich's number one beer producer, announced the production of a limited quantity of Salvator 2000, the world-famous dopplebock.

Salvator 2000 will be bottled in a special three-liter black glass bottle and packaged in individually numbered wooden boxes. Only 2000 of the special packages will be created and available in the fall of 1999.

"With a full and creamy head and smoky nose accompanied by accents of Hallertau hops, Salvator 2000's red brown body is very rich, full, hearty, yet superbly balanced. The beer finishes remarkably dry for its strength (7.5 alcohol by volume), making it incredibly drinkable."
