Left Hand and Tabernash Break Ground For Expanded Facilities

April, 1998

The collaboration between Tabernash Brewing and Left Hand Brewing is on track with the beginning of construction on the expanded facilities in Longmont. The new building provides more space for fermentation, bottling and lagering. Once completed, the new addition will more than double the floor space of the existing building. At press time, the roof was going on between snow storms. Left Hand has taken over distribution of Tabernash beers in Boulder County and the rest of the merger should be complete by the time this issue hits the street.

One of the most exciting additions will be the installation of the SMB Technik bottling line that will put the Left Hand beers in six packs for the first time. Left Hand founder Eric Wallace advises us to look for them by mid-summer.
