Great Divide Seasonal Brews Become Year Around Favorites

April, 1998

Great Divide Brewing Company of Denver has made a non-announcement that they would not be brewing a seasonal offering this Spring.

"The last two seasonals we released (Denver Pale Ale and Bee Sting Honey Ale) were so well received that they became year around brews", said Tara Dunn, Great Divide owner. "This a great problem to have, but a problem nonetheless." With six beers in their current lineup, Great Divide wants to concentrate on supporting their existing brands.

Things have been going well for Great Divide in the last year. Last March Brian and Tara became parents of twins. Then, at the Great American Beer Festival, they brought home a pair of medals for their beers. (Tara says the twins are a lot more work to keep clean.)
